The Solas – Sola Deo Gloria – Week 5

In our final week, we look at what probably is the canopy that covers the other 4 solas.  This week we look at several of the great catechisms and the teachings they brought upon a people who found freedom coming out of the mid 1500’s as

In 1 Corinthians 10:31, Paul says, “Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

This was the operative phrase for the Reformer’s. Soli Deo Gloria, “the glory of God alone,” drove those men and women in every area of life.  This concept also underscored the sense of “calling”.
