Marie Anna Max – Into the Lord’s Care

Mansfield, Marie Anna Max, 73, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family members, Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness.

Marie was born May 8, 1949, in Buffalo, NY, to the late Anna Ranstatler.

Marie Anna Max was a loving mother who touched many lives with her bright smile, easy giggle and with constant words of encouragement. She enjoyed spending time with her family above all else and has also served her community as a waitress, a child caregiver and a library assistant.

She leaves to cherish in her memory daughters, Marianne Karen Manley and Karen (Gary) Moy; sister, Clara Magdalene Ranstatler; grandchildren, Andrew Michael Rolston, Grace Marianne Rolston, Barry Dean Manley, Purl Lea Manley, Nicholas Wun Fung Moy, Kelly Yun Mei Moy; great-grandchild, Elaine Manley; a host of relatives and friends.

The services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11 am, with one-hour prior calling to the services at Small’s Funeral Services, 326 Park Ave. W., with Pastor Tom Roepke, Linden Road Presbyterian Church officiating. 

She will be loved and remembered forever, also by the kind staff, residents and her friends of Mansfield Memorial Homes.

The family has entrusted Small’s Funeral Service with the arrangements.
